My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don’t show favoritism. (James 2:1)
- Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in.
- If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,”
- have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
ya.. For me, i admit that sometimes, or may be, usually, i do judge the book by it’s cover.
Simply take an example, when you choose apples from market, wouldn’t you choose a nice and reddish apple?
As for people, a guy who wear collar shirt surely will attract me.
Today, as i read through the bible. I realized that, i don’t like people to have favoritism. But.. somehow..
I want to keep in mind what’s God tells me. I am trying to live out the words of Him.
